D. passed the Deep Water Test at the pool today. These are of limited interest, so I'll just give the links rather than embedding.

Now he's officially qualified to swim in the deep end of the pool. Since he still starts floundering whenever he's jostled, I think this means I'll be spending a lot more time in the deep end too.
