Mini heat-wave
Aug. 14th, 2008 08:46 pmI am so glad we have air conditioning. Most people in Eugene don't. Today was the first of probably three days of 97-100°F weather, but I was comfortable. I wrote up notes about generic narrative structures, played a Warcraft 3 variant online with one of
fractal9091's friends, and spent a half hour in the neighborhood pool with D. before dinner.
I can't believe how summer is just whizzing past. Tomorrow is D's last day of swimming lessons, then he has just one more week of all-day Pokémon-and-Nickelodeon before wizard camp with the Unitarians and then starting third grade.
