Vacation 2008.2

fractal9091 and I watched five cartoon episodes: two Code Geass, two Inuyasha, and one X-Men.
This morning we did more work, then around 2 p.m. we headed to campus. We were too early for access to the Olympic Trials festival, so we walked north to the duck pond (no ducks!) and the Autzen footbridge. Finally we went back, and through security, and around the street festival a bit, though we were too early to do more than see arriving athletes. We then stopped by Prince Puckler’s for ice cream and an Italian soda.
Next we took D. to the pool (andfractal9091 started reading The Wee Free Men), then we ordered pasta from Mazzi’s with R. I got my exciting news about my essay! I took Thor on a short walk, and after putting D. to bed, fractal9091 and I watched Entrapment and looked for Kuala Lumpur locales he’d seen in person in February, and then my Petronas Towers engineering tape too.
