Remember how last Saturday we had a record high for that date, 84°?
When R. got up today, there was more than a half inch of snow on the ground! That's more than Eugene gets all winter, most years! And it's the second half of April!!
Edit, 9:32 a.m.: It is snowing right now!!
This will not be a good year for Oregon apples and cherries. (Or pears, but I do not much care about pears.)
(Yesterday I counted ten kinds of wildflowers blooming in the woods by the schools. Surely snow is not good for them either.)
