I want to thank everyone for the kind thoughts, and assure everyone that I'm doing quite well. Either this is a very mild case or the medicine is very effective, because this isn't even as bad as most colds (other than the medicine's side effects, which are mostly gone now too). I am certainly scattered and behind on my work, but I'm now quite comfortable, compared to what I was expecting.
