"Sanctuary"
Nov. 18th, 2007 08:39 pmHere's the print I bought yesterday. The artist's name is Barbara Irvine.

The arches are the underside of the Siuslaw River bridge, in Florence, the town where I was born. The river doesn't really have oak trees growing in the middle of it, but inland a ways there are certainly old decaying pine trunks. The Siuslaw (sy-OO-slah) River mostly runs through thick forest and enters the Pacific a mile or two downstream of the bridge.
( A normal view of the bridge )
