Today I was really just domestic: bills, laundry, Bi-Mart; sent a birthday card to my dad, tied back roses so D. can more safely play outside with his new friend. For dinner, we walked over to our neighborhood Mexican restaurant. We had a long conversation with the owner, and then some with his wife/co-owner. Her grandfather, back in Mexico, is 107 years old! At Christmas he'll be 108! This means he was born in 1899, and he is still alive!
