Into the woods

After completely frittering away the morning, I did manage to get both surveys ready (thanks to a handy online random order generator), and I also revised a paper. After dinner, I went on a long walk to the woods behind our neighborhood middle school, where I came across a rather squawky rufous-sided towhee, but he or she flew away while I was adjusting the camera.
