Mutterations

Today I'm sick, grumpy, and unfocused, but I've been having a nice time reading the Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman books. He's going to propose in about a dozen pages. "In vain I have struggled. It will not do."

I can also offer the probably unoriginal observation that if you start watching the Dune movie in the middle, like when Paul first meets the Fremen, it is laughably bad, much worse than if you watch from the beginning.
