New lights! Yay!
Dec. 3rd, 2005 08:57 pmToday I watched the first season finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender, an animated serial I've been following for a few months now. It's a kids' show, with exciting battles using elemental forces. I really like their use of color and the careful attention to architecture and anthropology.
R. replaced all our outdoor lights today; the old ones had faded to pale and then more or less failed. He used three strands of multicolored twinklies along the eaves and a strand of blue on the aoyagi maple. Then in the evening, they had a big surprise for me: They'd also gotten a red globe! And he'd hung it in the aoyagi too. I adore the globe lights. This is our first one.
My voice comes and goes. I'm making lots of progress in The Alchemist's Door today. (It's due Monday, so no more reading bits at a time.)
