A really vast rainbow
Nov. 29th, 2005 10:15 pmLast day of class. SS presented her thoughts about researching materialism, and TBB gave a slide show of images related to a wide variety of rituals. My presentation was a bit muddled (really, I just leafed through the pages and said things here and there), but they said it was fine. The paper's in good shape, but my mind has been elsewhere. After class, I found that Holy Cow had cream of asparagus soup, one of my favorite soups. Then at the office I discovered that I'd actually managed to lose about two pounds over Thanksgiving weekend, despite stuffing myself on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I suppose that's from having a cold.
On our way to Kindermusik, I saw the biggest rainbow I'd ever seen in my whole life -- it literally went from about due north to about due east:

At one point, we could see that there's a pot of gold somewhere near Parker School!

Two weeks ago, I dragged the Kindermusik office manager outside to look at the full moon, and today I had her doing the same for the rainbow. At this rate, I'll be getting a reputation!
