My last day as a preschool parent

Today I rethought one of my paper outlines for work (the item response theory one) and now think it should be less ambitious (that is, I want to refocus it to just one topic), which will probably make others happy. I also wrote extensive comments on the long-term outcome paper for our last study, and in the evening I made good progress on Pagan Holiday: On the Trail of Ancient Roman Tourists, which I'm enjoying more than when I started it last year. Today I read about the various Greek sites, and now we're at Delos.

We went to the open house for Parker School this afternoon. Kindergarten starts tomorrow! Only 7 of the 23 kids in the class are boys.
