The house on the corner...
Nov. 13th, 2004 08:40 pm... had several hundred unusually tall mushrooms in its front lawn today. I took pictures, with a Fisher-Price dog for scale. The older ones are spindlier and slimier.
Later we had more fun with them:

In the late afternoon, we watched my new and staticky* copy of 20 Million Miles to Earth while eating alliteratively: popcorn and peperoni pizza. After that, a few scenes of Pirates of the Caribbean, followed by Rick Steves in Provence. The cafes and courtyards looked so inviting in sunshine, which reminded me that when my mom and Arnold were there, they experienced a deluge and major flooding.
* I checked two dictionaries, which agreed I should say "statical," but I like my word better.
