"A Mighty Wind"
Sep. 18th, 2004 08:49 pmThis evening we watched A Mighty Wind, the latest from Christopher Guest, Eugene Levy, Michael McKean, etc. It wasn't funny in the same way as their other films, but worthwhile. As R. points out, much of the fun is just getting to see the ensemble doing something new. Jennifer Coolidge, as a ditz publicist, got one of the funniest lines in the movie, something about how it's good that model trains exist, otherwise we'd never have gotten the idea for the big ones.
It was quite windy here today, too, continuing this unusual cold weather. I visited my mom's garage sale this morning -- one of only two or three people to do so -- and thought I was going to freeze.
