Day 973: Movie night

This week we got to watch Clash of the Titans! Our host hadn't even heard of it before last week, when many people suggested it to go with the Greek mythology-themed game she'd been playing (she's a game streamer and was playing Hades, so now she's seen it and she enjoyed it. J's quite attached to the movie, as he saw it a great many times in his childhood. I like it just fine too, but my enthusiasm was mostly because now our host knows about Harryhausen, and maybe someday we'll get to see Sinbad movies, or the one I especially adore, Jason and the Argonauts!

My Latin teacher at school took our class to see it, and she had no idea it was not a historical movie, LOL.

What? Ha! I remember seeing it in a theater when it first came out, and J's family had a VHS recording of it that he saw repeatedly during his childhood, so we were very familiar with the movie. Fun to see it again though.

I remember it as amusingly cheesy. Maybe time to watch it again!
