Day 959: Rainy Friday

Today I got my flu shot (yay), made progress on the grant proposal I hope to submit on Wednesday, and watched a Friday night movie with J: Arrival. I'd read a review of it a year or two ago - it's about a linguist who becomes a key person in a first-contact situation. Pretty good. Now I'm reading a very cozy book: The Murder of Mr. Wickham.

Also, we took a walk during a break in the rain - fall color by the middle school, and clouds low enough to touch the surrounding forested hills.

It was fun to finally get to walk outside, and in the daylight too! Not as much daylight when J. finishes work now, because now we're back to standard time.
