J. went up to Portland today with DG to play Magic. It was a tournament at a game store, where the winner would qualify to play at a big Magic event in Atlanta, in Novemberr. J. did so-so, then DG won the whole thing! His wife will be quite surprised when she wakes up, since he hadn't mentioned the Atlanta aspect to her.
Meanwhile, I did a bunch of work and watched an episode of Perry Mason. There was a two-hour period where my computer was insisting that it was raining in Eugene, but at our house it was only a few minutes of sprinkles. Should be great for the air quality, though.
