Day 900? (wow) Sunday

eve_primeIt's really been 900 days of social distancing and/or other pandemic considerations? What a long time.
Today was another lovely day, warm but not hot, clear skies, just right. I worked indoors some, then read outside and spent some time brushing Ambrose, who still has a considerable collection of burrs in his fur, or as I call it, "stuffs in his fluffs." He's a good one for baby talk.
J. played again in the Magic prerelease event but was quite disappointed when he didn't get to play in the two-headed giant event, his very favorite Magic thing, because they hadn't signed up in advance - a store employee had told them it wouldn't be necessary, but then the store ran out of cards and only those who had signed up got to play. Super frustrating, since they could easily have signed up in advance. They were at the store Wednesday, for example, and yesterday, and earlier today... He only gets to play this special two-player format maybe four or five times a year, so he was bummed and disoriented.
