Oregon 48, Arizona 28; D 3-3 and J 6-3

eve_primeOregon's quarterback finally recovered from his broken collarbone and led the team to victory this afternoon. Meanwhile, despite getting 2-0 starts, neither D. nor J. did all that well at Grand Prix Portland. J. was 4-0, then 5-1, but finished 6-3 so he barely made Day Two. D. dropped out after round 6 or so, at 3-3 probably. Our friend DG went 5-4 and also didn't make Day Two; he and D. will play in side events tomorrow, and J. probably will too unless he gets on a great winning streak in the morning.
As for me, my energy level was very low today. I'm still congested from that cold, a bit. The most exciting part of the day, besides various touchdown moments in the football game, was when I discovered that our friend Z. (co-owner of the local game store) was going to appear in an online feature match for round five of the Grand Prix. She was doing great until her Hazoret was stopped with an Ixalan's Binding, and then when she needed to draw a Chandra she was getting only mountains.
Update, 11:20 p.m.. So, they ordered a pizza, and it didn't arrive in a timely fashion, so DG called the pizza place. He was told that the driver had gotten into a minor accident. Another driver came and took all the pizzas for delivery except theirs! It's been an hour and a half since they ordered it. They are getting so hungry. :(
