Today I was a Very Good Girl - I went to the DMV before my license expired (in 12 days) and took care of all that paperwork. It only took about an hour this time. I then went and did a whole variety of errands. Driving around was fun because gusts of wind were stirring up the falling leaves, but it was otherwise very sunny and pretty. It was warm in the afternoon, too, although cold once darkness fell.
At the youth symphony rehearsal, a special guest worked with them. This time it was the principal cellist from the Cleveland Symphony, which (despite being in Cleveland) is a world-class orchestra. I stuck around for a while and learned that the rests in a piece of music can be considered analogous to punctuation in a text.
D. downloaded Assassn's Creed: Origins tonight and is up very late as a consequence.
