I hosted "movie night" for my neighborhood book club again; we used J's big TV and his back yard. This time I shared To Catch a Thief, which I don't think any of them had seen before. B. brought her mom, and H. joined us too; three weren't able to come, so we had eight total.
I bought a lot of food today! The cherries were a big hit, as was the blackberry (hard) cider. Leora picks a quart of blueberries every day this time of year, so we got to have some of them too. I have leftover strawberries which D. will enjoy in his lunch tomorrow. Our new friend Oliver, a dark red tabby, spent about half of the movie with us, mostly intent on getting up on the table with the cheese.
