Eyes have it

eve_primeToday was pretty much entirely used up dealing with the symptoms in my right eye - more or less the same as the symptoms in my left eye that meant a tear in my retina, but it turns out the right eye doesn't have that. Whew, no laser surgery. J. helped a bunch with the driving, both to/from the doctor and getting D. to his rehearsal.
Afterwards, my dilated eyes were too light-sensitive to use my regular laptop, so I used this antiquated one instead; it's nicely dim. I don't have software on it for most of the work I have right now, so instead I read PBM's dissertation and sent back my copy-edit suggestions. I'm always amazed at the quality of his English, considering it's (I think) his _third_ language.
