Today I had a fascinating conversation with Joe B, who is working on "cultural design" issues. He's tremendously well informed and has given due thought to the ethical issues in "designing" culture - especially it should be noted that he's focusing on grassroots and community-level activities to promote practices for well-being and health, not top-down "how things should be" work.
