We just got back from seeing Arcadia, a Tom Stoppard play, performed beautifully by the kids at D's high school. Our friend S. played a poet whose wife has lots of "relations" with other men. Was he killed by Lord Byron in a duel? Just one of many questions. The play is about chaos theory, thermodynamics, academia, landscape design, and human relationships, and I had tears in my eyes at the ending. Now to read the script.
