D. has finals tomorrow, so he's stressing about calculus and physics. Actually he's asleep (I hope), so I hope he stopped worrying.
My thought yesterday that I should reduce my consumption of butter and cheese may have been premature - in the first place, I don't eat more than the recommended amount of saturated fat, and in the second place, saturated fat consumption actually lowers triglycerides. I have none of the risk factors for high triglycerides, and triglyceride levels can shoot up dramatically after eating, so my "high" level right after lunch may mean nothing.
I'm now reading Samuel Delany's The Jewels of Aptor. It's one of those post-apocalyptic Earth novels that reads like a fantasy novel.
