I'm feeling much better today, and I've been energetically bouncing back and forth between three things: my new grant proposal (due mid-June), my current main writing project, and... The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin. This book is so good that I compared it to eating gelato -- after reading just a few pages I want switch to something else for a bit, and then come right back, because the experience would be too intense otherwise.
