The perpetual battle

I made some progress against the blackberries this weekend, the ones that tend to fill up the whole area between my house and the southern fence. Now I have a path that goes nearly to the eastern wall. Of course, it will probably all be back by the middle of summer...

J. and his friends went 2-3 in the Grand Prix today, but they had fun. On the other hand, his friend from England won the Super Sunday series event there today! This qualifies him to play in some big tournament in Seattle later on.
