eve_primeToday we bought a new TV for J. It looks great as a monitor for a laptop, using an HDMI cable, but not so great with a PlayStation 2. I guess the main things that will matter is whether we can get that fixed (perhaps with a better cable), and if the streaming looks okay on a browser. Also we can try to get an antenna and see which channels he can pick up. And we can use my old DVD player and one of our Wiis with it.
His old TV was a little bitty CRT model, with a built-in VCR, so this is a big upgrade!
