Today’s highlights

• Listening to D. record his All State audition pieces with no fingering mistakes. I think his last take on the more technical piece impressed his clarinet teacher.
  
• Selecting a 3' fuzzy “snake” toy with D. for the cats’ second birthday, which we’ll celebrate tomorrow.
  
• Yummy beef kow soi at the neighborhood Thai restaurant with J.
  
• Listening to my favorite Elastica song on YouTube.

Plans for the rest of the evening:

• A fairly short walk beneath the full moon.
  
• A chapter or two of the fourth Sharing Knife book.
  
• Saturday night anime, including the concluding episode of Sword Art Online II. We’re hoping they’ll make a III. Ooh! Thanks, Google, both III and IV are planned! Another highlight for today.
