Kitten Bowl Sunday

Last night and today I rewatched A Room with a View. I read a few chapters from the dissertation of a local woman I'm planning to meet, and I also had the idle thought that there could be a point to rewriting my prelim paper and the interesting bits of my dissertation into book form... but I already have lots of projects. This would already be further along than most, though.
Oh! I also finished writing up a summary of a paper I'm planning, which would be a foundation piece for the moralization paper. I've decided that from here on, I should write up my papers as if they were a story first, to see if I like one particular "story" about the content, over another. I guess I already did that when I rewrote the item response theory paper, too, which still has a few loose ends before I can resubmit it... Anyway, with the new paper, it was a very useful exercise, because now I can plainly see that many of the thoughts I'd been collecting are too peripheral to use at this stage. Maybe in a subsequent paper. Now I can turn it into an outline (it nearly is, already), and then I can get started writing.
And I watched the last few minutes of the Super Bowl (poor Seahawks!), followed by a fair amount of the Kitten Bowl. Ajani was nearly as rapt as last year, although this time he didn't try so much to interact with the TV. The Kitten Bowl! It's adorable.
