Have I been watching/reading too many mysteries lately? The behavior of the defendant on tonight’s Perry Mason episode is reminding me rather strongly of the behavior of the victim on A Caribbean Mystery, and I’m sitting there wondering if he’s been subject to long-term belladonna poisoning. Of course, he won’t have been ingesting it from his hand cream, if so…

Update. Never mind! I can happily report that I was completely off the mark. He was (a) not the defendant, (b) faking it, and (c) utterly guilty.
