This afternoon’s meeting focused on the revitalization / reintroduction of the website we made 10 years ago to help people quit smokeless tobacco. Going through all the details with the programmers reminded me of just how thorough and useful the site is! It’s helped several thousand people to quit, and I’m pleased that my new study means that we get to reopen the old website, with new graphics and programming, too.
(When the PI of the original study started a new website to help young adults quit, he funneled all the website hits for our original website over to the new one, for years. Then that study ended, but they didn’t make it possible to start using the old website again. Now I get to bring it back!)
