Today’s big achievement was an 80-minute meeting during which we hashed out a bunch of details for our e-cigarette proposal. Then I sat through a “new scientist” colloquium about some studies using this personality data collected from Hawaiian schoolchildren in the 1950s, for which they tracked down the participants 40 years later. Now they can relate the kids’ personality traits to their eventual adult health outcomes, which is moderately interesting. I also spent a bunch of time working on my gardening projects after dinner. Later, it’ll be back to the proposal. It just goes on and on.
(Meanwhile, my co-PI just got back from a three-week trip to South America, and my co-I is about to take a week off for an RV rally, with another vacation week at the beginning of June. I get to just keep working.)
