I've read Gaudy Night several times, and I knew that the book about Harriet Vane's acquittal had preceded it. I finally got to read this one, Strong Poison, because the people [livejournal.com profile] fractal9091 was housesitting had a copy, and today I started rereading Gaudy Night... only to realize, about 30 pages in, that Have His Carcase must have preceded it also. Good thing I'd gotten that one at the library as well.

(Other than that: work-work, housework, a walk in the park, and the first half hour of the 1947 Sinbad the Sailor, which is almost painfully colorful.)
