Huh, already halfway through August?

eve_primeIt's the third day of a "mini-heatwave," though 92° with a breeze turned out really very nice.
D's at a 20-hour birthday party. I hope the parents won't be too worn out by morning. R. and I went out for burgers at the neighborhood tavern (which is quite a good restaurant, actually, and it's too bad they can't serve kids). We also watched Eureka before D. left and the van Gogh Doctor Who in the evening. I had a nice evening walk and found a neighborhood I hadn't been in before, and of course I'm doing oodles of work. Back to that now, I guess.
