Today I feel like writing an Existential Guilt Scale. So far I have these items:

• I feel a sense of personal responsibility for the state of the world.


• I feel guilty about the mistakes my country has made.


• We need to correct the injustices done by previous generations.


• I only feel responsible for things I have done personally. (r)


• Sometimes I feel uncomfortable about the privileges I was born to.

(r) means the item is reverse-scored, so it should have a connotation opposite to the other ones.
