Small updates

eve_primeStill nothing from the bank. I was sufficiently annoyed that I wrote a fairy tale about it, which I shared with J and his parents.
On the other hand, Parker seems to be healing nicely.
Our online book club book for the month was A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court, and I read about a quarter of it in the last two days, but I’ll probably stop. I wasn’t enjoying the narrator’s voice.
So… I switched to the new series where Emma Woodhouse Knightley is investigating murders, and it’s grand fun. I’m actually reading two Austen fan fictions at once, now – no overlap of characters as far as I know, though.

Date: 2026-03-25 02:19 pm (UTC)So strange about that bank issue. That is what I have heard about Zelle though. To be very careful where you send the money as once it's gone, it's gone. Not like PayPal or Venmo. I usually send a test amount of $1.00 or $5.00 first. Once the person gets that, then I send the rest.
But of course your Dad probably didn't know any of this, sigh.
