A rather busy Sunday

My intention had been to attend our annual local archaeology film festival this afternoon, just for an hour, to see a documentary about the excavation of a major temple of Artemis. Then I found the film online last night, which meant that I needn’t make the effort. Unfortunately, I discovered today that the film apparently is accessible only to “professionals” – profession unspecified – too late to go see it downtown. Oh well.

Today’s big task in cleaning J’s house for guests coming in late June involved carrying lots of books upstairs, then rearranging the contents of several bookcases. Surprisingly tiring! However, his library (downstairs) is already looking better.
