A cloudy Thursday

Let’s see. Today J rode to Salem with a couple of co-workers so they could spend some time with their boss, who is visiting from Virginia. He was gone for eight hours – it took a long time for the boss to arrive, then they did some axe-throwing, then they had dinner, at which he ate prodigiously.

Meanwhile, I went and got books that had come in for me at both libraries then had an online meeting of our mini-book-club. BHW discovered at the last minute that she wasn’t able to join us from her work computer after all, so we mostly just chatted about things we’d recently read, then JS and I tried to advise HB about finding horror books that aren’t too predictable, and JS and HB gave me advice on Apple+ shows to watch when we have a subscription, which we’ll be starting tomorrow for Murderbot
