Movie night

This week’s Friday movie was Master and Commander, which I hadn’t seen in about 20 years and which is a very good movie, although those of us watching it concurred that we’d rather watch a movie about the surgeon, the boy, and the man helping them explore the island. Then, after J got back from “armored fight night,” we opened the box of about a dozen books in the series that his mom sent last year – they could be fun summer reading!
