Valentine's

I hope you all had lovely Valentine's Days. We had fun - I gave J three different types of strawberry pastry, and he gave me a plush pink piece of cake! We made fondue, and watched the Friday movie, and sat around in the hot tub among the bits of remaining snow. The Friday movie was highly entertaining: Asteroid City, a recent Wes Anderson film that I hadn't heard of before today. I definitely want to watch it again, and fortunately I can watch it on cable in just nine days. Also, our fondue was extra-good - the package of emmenthaler I found at Market of Choice was smaller than the recipe called for, so I substituted more of the white cheddar, and also we used some of "Cousin Ed's" pinot gris instead of chardonnay. We have updated our fondue recipe accordingly.
