Fine, mostly

Yesterday J and I each thought we might be getting sick, but today we were fine (other than a rather severe onset of sciatica pain at the end of a 30-minute walk that had otherwise been fine). Maybe I need to learn how to walk again! D came and visited with us a while in the late afternoon and early evening, which was fun - he and J are building decks for a Magic event this coming weekend.

We hope potatoes are okay for cats. Both Ambrose and Azalyn were very eagerly licking the toaster oven tray after J made tater tots, and later one of them (probably Azalyn) cleaned off the cheddar bits and a rather large amount of leftover catsup from his plate - at least she sensibly left the mustard alone.
