How to Read Wittgenstein, by Ray Monk. If you want to know more about Wittgenstein (famous philosopher of the early 20th century) and don't want to read a biography (he was a miserable person) and don't have the background and motivation to read his own books, this short introduction is the way to go. Each chapter shares bits of his writing and then explains what is going on. I still don't get why he's considered so important, though, but it was interesting to read his own words.
