Animal Well

Let's see. J and I are exciting near the finish of the Animal Well game, which is full of puzzles and very interesting, but it will probably take several more sessions of playing. The player "wins" the game fairly early, but there's a whole lot more game to go after that, and normally players end up looking it up online, but to J that's cheating. He did decide it would be okay to get hints from D, who didn't play the entire game but did do things we hadn't done without looking things up, so we used a hint on Monday to make good progress, and a second hint today for more good progress. So close!

I had to launder couch covers twice today, but that's no great hardship. The annoying part of the day was that after a rather nice nighttime walk I developed mild stomach pains, which haven't gone away yet - I hope it's not norovirus, which is going around! Tomorrow is the symphony, and I also want to attend a talk at the university on Friday.
