Day 926: Deck painting day
Oct. 2nd, 2022 10:13 pmWhew! It took an hour and a half, and we got the new part of the deck painted! We need to do a second coat, and there's still the older part of the deck to repaint (we matched its color).
J's lower back tolerated the painting adequately (he used a roller and I used a brush), and I didn't have any problems with the fumes at all!
Before (I'm applying masking tape, and Azalyn's checking things out):
After:
We put Ambrose and Azalyn into the garage for the night (they are not happy about that; they've mostly forgotten their previous stays in the garage, it seems), so I used the opportunity to mow some of the higher grass in my back yard. I hope to make more progress on that tomorrow. I am sure tired now!
