Day 899: A lovely Saturday
Sep. 3rd, 2022 11:59 pmWe had gorgeous weather here today, 78 or 79 degrees and the sky very clear. J got up before me (of course) and went to play Magic in Springfield, having lunch with DG and getting home around 5 pm. He sat outside with me a bit then went off to play Rolemaster.
I'd realized I had nearly a dozen library books due today, so I drove downtown and returned them, then tidied the kitchen some, then read a bunch outside. I also watched a TV show about Thomas Boleyn.
After J. got home from Rolemaster, we went to Safeway and bought stuff to grill on Monday, then we watched two anime episodes, then he drove to the airport and collected D, who had flown all the way back from Florida today. Then we heard a bunch about their Disneyworld adventures, then watched three more anime episodes.
Also, the deadline for D's big assignment has been extended for a week, and he doesn't have to work on Monday after all, so he should have a much more relaxing weekend, which makes me feel better too.
