Day 872: Improving, thankfully
Aug. 7th, 2022 11:53 pmToday J. and I flipped our wellness, compared with yesterday. Yesterday he went to JC's party for, hm, about six hours? He was quite tired afterward. And after my walk to Safeway and my neighbor's house, I was too wiped out even to go to the party at all.
Today, though, although I did have to rest a bit after my shower, I managed to get some things done. I delivered my flowers to JC and chatted with him and especially his wife and baby for a while. Then I went to the university library, where I returned a book and got five more; I even walked up and down the stairs rather than using the elevator. And after I got home, I also went to Safeway. And I managed all this despite being double-masked, which was extra uncomfortable in the heat (95ish). Then I spent most of the evening reading outside.
Meanwhile, J. was feverish today. He spent most of the day curled up in his comfy chair, playing a video game (Tunic), then when I went to do my errands he came outside for some heat, because he was too cold. He also played Rolemaster from home too.
I hope we'll be well tomorrow, because I'd like to make some progress on the bringing home bookcases project! The weather should be back to normal; today was just an aberration. We expect 84F, which is just about perfect.
