Lies Sleeping, by Ben Aaronovitch. Rivers of London #7. This one is pretty much just pursuing previously identified troublemakers; my favorite part was the new (probably minor) character.

I wonder if I will keep waking up sleepy until I've matched the number of days when I woke up with a jolt of adrenaline? I am not getting much done. I did drive downtown to return a library book, with some additional stops. I went to Safeway with J. to pick up his new prescriptions, and I made a batch of meatballs to last a few days.

Today's movie was supposed to be Millennium Actress, a highly regarded anime movie, but our host napped right through the time for it. I guess she plans to show it tomorrow. I was glad to get some time to read outside, and the outdoor cats were glad to get attention. Here's Azalyn on J's lap:

I also watched the first session of a special class/book club, which started last Saturday when I was too busy, but they're recorded. My copy of the book hasn't arrived either. It was pretty entertaining! Our host, who is a moderately famous violinist, also interviewed a luthier (violin-maker) from a famous American family of luthiers, and we got to chat with her apprentice, too.
