Day 820: Book completed
Jun. 16th, 2022 11:52 pmAn Incomplete Revenge, by Jacqueline Winspear. Maisie Dobbs #5. A fun read. This time Maisie is investigating a village in Kent, where something apparently went horribly wrong at one point during the first World War.
Today was D&S's 6th anniversary (and yes, they're only 21 and 22, respectively, so their experience is not very wide). They went for a walk through the rose garden and across the bridge at Valley River Center, where they ate at BJ's. D. tried jambalaya and brought almost all of it home for me to try instead. They had then planned to hike up the hills to the west to enjoy the sunset, but it had been cloudy all day so they settled for computer games. At the last moment, the skies did clear enough for a bit of pretty sunset anyway, though it was a bit cold then too.
