Day 750: A house for sale
Apr. 6th, 2022 11:44 pmWhen he'd finished work today, J. and I went on a short walk to look at the yard of the house directly behind his - nobody's living there and it gets quite overgrown, and it's worthwhile to keep an eye on it. As we approached, we saw that a house just two houses away from that one is about to go on the market. The front of the house looked quite attractive!
When we got home, I looked it up (3 bdrm, 2 bath), and when DG arrived to spend the evening with J, I asked if he'd like to see a house for sale, since they're looking. So we walked back over there, and I think he liked it too. It would be such fun to have them so close by - even I could probably literally throw a stone that far - although by the street routes it's about half a mile away. Nevertheless, given the bidding war for that little house at the end of our street, the odds are against it.
